What happens to what you send me
This is a small website for a one-person business. It is written plainly because that is more useful to you than boilerplate.
What this site collects
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your firm, your email address, your telephone number, the practice area you select, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else about you is gathered.
Please do not send confidential client details
A website contact form is not a secure channel. Your name, your firm, and a sentence about the kind of help you need is exactly right. Anything covered by privilege, or anything you would not want read outside your firm, belongs on a call or in a secure exchange we set up together.
Where it goes
Straight to my email inbox, and nowhere else. It is not stored in a database on this site, it is not fed into a mailing list, and it is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for marketing. If we do not end up working together, your message simply stays in my email until I delete it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and does not track you across the internet. Visitor numbers are counted in aggregate — how many people came, and which pages they read — with no cookies and nothing that identifies you personally.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected against automated abuse. That check may briefly see your IP address in order to tell a person from a bot. It is not used for anything else.
Asking me to delete something
Email amanda@foxparalegal.com and ask, and I will delete what you sent.
Changes
If this ever changes, the revised version replaces this page.
